"From Our Maple Trees to Your Table"

The family behind Sanner Maple Products has been bringing the natural sweetness of maple from their trees to your table for over 50 years. Located in Rockwood, Pennsylvania, in southern Somerset County, our family-owned and operated business continues a maple sugaring tradition that spans seven generations.

Today, three generations work together to provide customers with maple products of the highest quality. Charles Sanner learned the art of maple production from his father, Richard Sanner, who learned from the generations before him. Charlie, his wife Jane, their son Andy and wife Kristen, along with grandsons Steven and Adam, all contribute to making Sanner Maple Products a thriving operation. Additional family members also participate in various aspects of maple production, making our business truly family-oriented.

The Maple Sugaring Process

Our operation includes approximately 20,000 taps on maple trees that provide the sugar water used to create our all-natural maple syrup. The sugar water flows from the taps through an extensive tubing system to collection tanks and is aided by a reverse osmosis system.

The sugar water is then transported to our sugar camp, where it is boiled in a 5' x 16' Leader evaporator pan, filtered, and stored in barrels before being packaged in plastic or glass containers of various sizes.

That's it—no additives, preservatives, or additional ingredients are added. The sugar water comes straight from our maple trees and is transformed into pure maple syrup using traditional methods and modern equipment. Our maple syrup is also used to create many of our other delicious maple products right on the farm, ensuring exceptional quality from start to finish.

Sanner Maple Products are available year-round by calling ahead to visit the farm or by ordering through our website.

Community Events and Maple Traditions

Sanner Maple Products proudly participates in the Somerset County Maple Taste & Tour held annually during the first two weekends of March. Visitors can tour multiple maple sugar camps throughout the region and experience maple production firsthand.

Guests visiting our farm can see the operation in full swing, tour our sugar camp, sample pure maple syrup and maple products, and enjoy special recipes showcasing the versatility of maple in cooking and baking. We even share recipes during the event so visitors can create maple-inspired dishes at home.

Maple Syrup: A Smart Food Choice

Pure maple syrup is a natural sweetener and contains fewer calories than many common sweeteners. It is also a good source of minerals, nutrients, and vitamins, making it a flavorful and healthful choice for topping foods or adding natural sweetness to recipes.

A Family Tradition Worth Sharing

For generations, our family has been dedicated to producing pure maple products with care, quality, and tradition. From the woods and sugar camp to your kitchen table, our maple syrup and every maple product reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and family values.

We are proud to continue sharing the sweetness of Pennsylvania maple with families near and far.
